When the challenge is helping people build capability, change behaviours, and apply what they know
I design learning experiences by focusing on how people actually learn — not just how content is
structured.
My experience spans the full learning lifecycle from design and development to facilitation and
assessment.
This work sits alongside my UX practice, the same research and systems thinking, applied to how people
learn, along with how they navigate (when it's online learning).
End-to-end design and development of self-paced learning experiences built to guide learners through
complex information with clarity and intent.
This includes structuring onboarding journeys, learning journeys, scripting content, authoring courses,
producing multimedia assets, and designing assessments. Each experience is paced to reduce cognitive load,
support progression, and help learners move from understanding to application.

Designing instructor-led and virtual learning experiences that work as well behind the scenes as they do
in the room.
This spans content research and curation, creating facilitator decks, designing activities and
assessments, developing post-session materials, and providing backend support to facilitators so sessions
run smoothly.

Facilitating learning experiences with a strong focus on participation, reflection, and real-world
application.

Designing assessments that go beyond knowledge checks to observe mindset, decision-making, and behaviour
change.
Using game-based elements intentionally to increase engagement, motivation, and retention—without losing
sight of learning outcomes.
This involves conceptualising storylines, mapping game mechanics to learning objectives, scripting
scenarios, and bringing experiences to life through performance where needed.
Example:
Game-based onboarding for a fresher cohort at a data infrastructure company across topics such as Working
in Teams, Mental Resilience and Growth, Taking Ownership and Executing Excellence, and Attitude and
Interpersonal Skills to help freshers transition to the corporate world.

Below are some projects that show how my design process helps turn complex requirements into
clear, usable learning experiences with a focus on clarity, relevance, and real-world
application.
Revamping a Self-paced Onboarding Experience
October 2022 to January 2023
This project focused on redesigning the self-paced learning journey within a global
onboarding program for a multinational process intelligence organisation. The broader
onboarding experience combined asynchronous learning with virtual live sessions.
The L&D team of a multinational retail company wanted us to design an experiential
blended learning journey (online & in-person sessions) for 30 emerging leaders. The
aim was to help them build leadership and interpersonal skills while applying those skills
to real business problems.
A creative learning consultancy was tasked with onboarding 150+ freshers at a global data storage
company through play. We designed seven original games — each anchored to a workplace skill,
each built so that the only way to win was to demonstrate the behaviour.
